Paris Hilton got popped from prison a mere three days into a 23-day-sentence that was already reduced from a 45-day sentence for probation violation. The public has not responded favorably. The day has been marked across the web with blogging and bashing as many smell a rat as psychiatrist Charles Sophy advised the L.A. County Jail medical team to spring Ms. Thing crazy early. Sheriff Lee Baca then gave his approval. However, many in the Los Angeles legal system do NOT approve.

Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe said in a statement: "This incident with Paris Hilton is just the most recent that highlights the problems our criminal justice system has with making sure sentences stick, whether it is in a County jail or under electronic monitoring."

Paris Hilton Groundhog Day Controversy:

Paris Hilton's defense of Punxsutawney Phil, the weather-predicting groundhog, has taken a dramatic new turn. Ms. Hilton plans to conduct a celebrity car wash in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, "during the bikini season," in order to raise funds for Phil's legal defense.

"Groundhog Day is one of my all-time favorite movies," said Ms. Hilton. "Anybody who attacks Punxsutawney Phil is attacking a poor, defenseless animal."

Paris Hilton Sex Tape Scandal:

In 2003, rumors popped up about a videotape of Hilton having sex with ex-boyfriend, Rick Salomon, who also happened to be the ex-husband of actress Shannen Doherty. Though the heiress and her lawyers initially denied the existence of such a tape, Hilton finally acknowledged her participation, once a three-minute teaser was spread far and wide across the Internet. To mitigate the damage, the Hilton family’s P.R. team went so far as to imply that their client may have been drugged – a move that later spurred Salomon to file a $10 million slander suit against the Hiltons. Many suspected that Salomon himself (or someone in his circle) was responsible for leaking the video, though this was never proven. In any case, the subject of the X-rated video would provide fodder for public discussion and late night comedy monologues for weeks to come. In response, a humiliated Hilton retreated from the limelight – albeit, only temporarily.

Paris Hilton ignites controversy during 'Simple Life' firehouse taping.Hotel heiress Paris Hilton used an Atlantic City, N.J., fire-dispatch radio to utter an obscenity, potentially violating a federal regulation. Hilton, who was at the firehouse with friend Nicole Richie while taping an episode of "The Simple Life," gained access to the radio system used to dispatch firefighters, WCAU-TV, Philadelphia.

Hilton, 22, then said on the live microphone, "Ladder 1, OK, mother (expletive)."

The use of obscene language on public airwaves, even for fire dispatching, usually falls under the regulation of the Federal Communications Commission.

Paris Hilton - Advertisement controversy:

Another controversy involving Hilton was her appearance in a Carl's Jr. television advertisement, originally broadcast in May 2005. In the commercial, which introduces the restaurant's "Spicy BBQ Six Dollar Burger", Hilton wears a provocative swimsuit and soaps up a Bentley automobile and herself before taking a big bite out of the burger. According to Forbes Magazine, Carl's Jr. paid Hilton $400,000 for filming in this commercial.
This has drawn criticism from television watchdog groups, including the Parents Television Council. The research director for the PTC, Melissa Caldwell, says; "This commercial is basically soft-core porn. The way she moves, the way she puts her finger in her mouth - it's very suggestive and very titillating."

The model claims she romped with paris after checking into a 500 pounds-a-night suite at the Bellagio Hotel, in Las Vegas. The moment we were in the room Paris had only one thing on her mind- sex. We lied down on a king size bed and took it in turns to play with each other. It wasn't long before we were naked and rolling around together, " Lenz was quoted in Britain's News of the World newspaper as saying Lenz also claims she and Paris pleasured each other with sex toys. We just pleasured each other for hours, recording it all. Paris had brought all manner of sex toys- to make sure we didn't miss out on anything simply because there was no man in the bed with us!'' she added.
